What we
see in St Kilda.
St Kilda concentrates every difficulty at once: high-density apartments, permit parking that is genuinely competitive, a foreshore full of birds, and salt air coming off the bay. It is also full of cars that deserve better treatment than the street gives them.
Bird droppings are the standout problem. Along the foreshore, Acland Street and Fitzroy Street, cars collect them constantly, and uric acid on a hot panel etches clear coat in a matter of hours rather than days. The dull ring left behind after you wipe one off is not residue — it is a shallow dish in the clear coat, and removing it means polishing.
Parking is the logistical half. Most of the residential grid is permit-only with real enforcement, and a Full Detail is a most-of-the-day job. We would much rather sort that out at booking than discover it at eight in the morning.

Hours, not days, on a hot panel in summer. Rinse on sight — and if a dull ring remains, that is a polishing job.

Most of the grid is permit-only and actively enforced. Tell us your arrangement when you book.

Bay air on the paint, beach sand in the carpets. Both need more than a wash to reverse.

have ready.
We bring the machines, pads, compounds, chemicals and lighting. What we cannot bring is water and power — there is no tank or generator in the van, so the tap and the powerpoint have to be yours.

Every surface in the cabin vacuumed, steamed, wiped down and freshened. Needs power, but no water.
Indicative for sedans and small SUVs in reasonable condition. Larger SUVs, utes and vans add 20–30%. Prices include GST. A $50 deposit holds your booking; the balance is paid on the day.
